WHO WE ARE
Born in Dayton Ohio, Matt Bernard is no stranger to the big city. After traveling between Dayton and San Diego while growing up, Matt found himself in Tampa Bay—and it didn’t take him long to know this is where he wanted to plant his roots. Fast forward 24 years and Matt is still happy to call Tampa Bay home. With its beautiful nature, buzzing nightlife, and family-oriented communities, Tampa certainly makes sticking around worthwhile.
Because of his love for both serving people and aviation, Matt embarked on a fulfilling career in private aviation, where his keen eye and meticulous work distinguished him from his peers. During his 20+ year tenure, he gained invaluable interpersonal and time management skills that assist him daily in his real estate transactions. Together with Otto Paruas, he continues to serve people through The M.O. Group—a Real Estate team whose goal is providing professional, comprehensive service to clients looking to make their “American Dream” a reality.
A devoted fisherman, Matt enjoys setting sail on a deep-sea fishing trip when the opportunity presents itself. When on dry land, he takes joy in spending quality time with his family and friends. Matt also actively pursues his love of aviation by attending airshows, museums, and by participating in desktop flight simulation of many kinds. Lastly, he also enjoys precision marksmanship and frequently enjoys time at the range honing this skill.
Although not a Florida Native, Otto Paruas prides himself on calling Tampa Bay his home for more than 15 years. Born in Cuba and raised in New Jersey, Otto knew right away that there was something special about Tampa. With its impressive beaches, bustling art culture, and world-renowned theme parks, Tampa is the perfect place to plant roots.
After 20+ years of serving clients in the private aviation field, Otto knew it was time to take his passion for helping others to the next level. Together with Matt Bernard, he created The M.O. Group—a Real Estate team whose goal is providing professional, comprehensive service to clients looking to make their “American Dream” a reality.
Otto enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Nicole, and their family. They are active members of their church and take joy in guiding the lost towards hope. An avid outdoorsman, his favorite pastimes include fishing in the Gulf, grilling by the pool, or taking a stroll down Tampa Riverwalk.
